Review: Nice quality and finish. - This was purchased to complement my European Outdoor Chef 480G LH Barbecue. It is classed as medium size but is suitable for 480 or 570 sized BBQ's. It has a plain side and a ridged side for getting the trademark griddle stripes on food the smooth side can also be used for Pizza which I have yet to try. I have already used it twice and the results have been very good. My Outdoor Chef BBQ uses direct or indirect cooking methods and the griddle plate works perfectly with either method. It will probably take sufficient food to feed 4 if needed, but so far have only cooked for two. The food comes of the griddle perfectly cooked and without burning. So far have tried marinated chicken thighs (on the bone), Sausages and Burgers all with great results. The Griddle has a smooth pre seasoned finish almost like a clear vitreous enamel, this seems pretty tough and cleaning is straightforward with a short soak helping remove any residual crispy bits. In use fatty food can lead to a build up of hot excess fat, I mopped this up with food tongs and kitchen paper but before starting make sure your BBQ is level. The griddle size is ideal and it will also come in handy on my 57cm Charcoal Weber Kettle. Price is quite high for what it is, but should last a lifetime (mine was discounted in desertcart Warehouse Deals). I Highly recommended this item to all enthusiastic outdoor cooks. Ottima piastra in ghisa
Che dire, un'ottimo prodotto, va a completare il mio sistema di cottura outdoorchef. La piastra e abbastanza grande da soddisfare le esigenze familiari, se avete ospiti grigliate due volte, ottima fattura si scalda presto e la cottura è eccellente, indicata per la cottura di hamburger e tagliate, la costata sarà la mia prossima prova. Prodotto consigliato sopratutto se siete stanchi di pulire la griglia tradizionale.

Es un producto muy versátil. Plancha y parrilla de hierro fundido y las asas, muy manejables. La utilizo cuando hago parrillada, con un rosco quemador de paellas y también con carbón o leña

Ich bin zufrieden
Ich habe mir die Gusseisengrillplatte für meinen Lotusgrill XL geholt, weil es mich immer gestört hat, dass man darauf nur auf einer kleinen Fläche Grillgut ablegen kann, dieses dann ständig in alle Richtungen gedreht werden muss und danach das Putzen recht umständlich ist. Die Platte ist fast einen Zentimeter zu groß für den XL, aber es funktioniert dennoch mit ein bisschen Geschick. Die Platte heizt schnell auf und die Wärme ist überall gut, das Grillgut gart gleichmäßig. Wir haben Grillkäse, Bratwürste und Nackensteaks gegrillt. Das Putzen danach ist zwar auch etwas schwierig, da aufgrund der Größe die Platte kaum in die Spüle passt, aber es geht. Alles in allem bin ich zufrieden mit meiner Anschaffung.
