I know from my previous experience it is work for 4 years minimum to recover soil and come to balance. So take a time and don’t give up. Use glay braker at the beginning and plenty of compost all your plants will be thankful. I planted my roses in first year…. But with plenty of compost and cover crop in September. Glay breaker works
I have to say it works and helps a lot to start but you have to incorporate organic matter too. I know from my previous experience it is work for 4 years minimum to recover soil and come to balance. Easy to use autumn and spring to help break up clay soil.

Clay breaker
This product is fine I have used it before with good results. However when I came to lift the container out of the cardboard box it was split from top to bottom and consequently went all over my hall floor. Being a pensioner with asthma this wasn’t good I had to find a mask and clear it up and find suitable containers to store it in.
