I would buy a local sim card when there, if you use a foreign sim card anywhere in the world you're gonna get stiffed by the local networks

You could port your number across . And yes you can use this sim card in Australia but it is not any cheaper to use . I would advise using a 3 Network sim card ..

You can this for free from them direct but that would have taken 3 days longer than Amazon and I was in a hurry. The international calls are good and cheap, well worth getting. Works on Vodafone network
