Review: Quality tap - easy to use - a handsome addition to the kitchen - Already having a number of Hansgrohe taps in the house, we thought that this would prove a good replacement for a failing Adobe tap. We were not wrong. The tap is a delight to look at and to use. The smooth lines are a pleasure to touch, and the flow of water just right. Highly recommended at a very good price.

The spray function is very easy to operate, and the tap is high enough that I can easily put tall vessels beneath it, although the pull-out hose is also useful for filling taller items. I do have a slight problem in that the tap swivels back to the left too readily rather than stay in the position that I turn it to, but I suspect this is something to do with the way it has been installed and hopefully can be sorted out by my plumber. I do recommend this tap and I'm very glad I didn't go with the option recommended by my kitchen designer and which would have cost in excess of £400; I doubt that her recommendation would have been any better than this Hansgrohe tap.

**Q: Does it come flexible connection hoses? What's the guarantee period?**
A: Yes, it comes with two connection hoses - but you will need to buy two 3/8" male to 15mm compression fitting adaptors for UK plumbing.Guarantee is 2 years (I think) but the tap is superbly engineered, so unless it is defective or damaged on receipt I very much doubt that this will be an issue.  I'm very, very pleased with mine.  When I sometimes end up using someone else's sink I am quickly reminded what a great tap I've got!

**Q: will it work with low water pressure**
A: Sorry it has taken a while to respond, but I have been away.  I have checked the literature supplied with the tap and it says it will work with water pressures of 1 to 5 bar.  1 bar is 14.7 psi, and is equivalent to a column of water 32 feet high.  So, if by low water pressure you mean that your water feed to the tap is from a cold water storage tank in your loft, then the level of water in that tank must be at least 32 feet above the tap outlet.  For a typical 2 storey house the cold feed tank is usually far less than 32 feet above the kitchen tap.  If your hot and cold water supplies are at mains water pressure, then in the UK this is normally greater than 1 bar.  I hope this helps.

**Q: The fittings for this tap are not uk fittings. Has anyone else had this problem. If so how has this been resolved please**
A: The mixer has European fittings to convert this to UK fitting it will require,  15mm x 3/8"  compression adaptor male iron, these can be purchased from any plumber merchant. (you will require 2, one on each connection hose)

Already having a number of Hansgrohe taps in the house, we thought that this would prove a good replacement for a failing Adobe tap. We were not wrong. The tap is a delight to look at and to use. This is a very sturdy tap and the look of it really suits my new kitchen. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great Tap but check the connection sizes (UK Standard Adaptors are not included).

Great tap and really easy to install until we got to the water valve connections. We missed these sizes when purchasing and had to install new valves - bit of a pain but they should include these in the box as they don't fit the standard UK connections. For the price of the tap they should be included. All in all the tap is a great replacement and love the water flow and is nice upgrade to the kitchen sink.
