I found this decal sheet after being in water was thicker than modelling ones, but harder to control. Also once fitted they had a tendency to go out of shape and sometimes would look wavy.Another reason why I didn't think this may have been as reliable as others was, I didn't use their fixing agent, but used some Vallejo varnish.Just for entertainment values, I will purchase a white coffee cup and make something for this as a gift.. ### ⭐ Product Not as Described *by A***R on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on April 29, 2019* This is an unusual and awful product. The inkjet surface is on an extremely stretchy white plasticy base. It is not similar to a transfer tattoo as the image of the product make it seem. Once immersed in water - provided you have sealed the image properly, (which is not mentioned in the item description on amazon) - the image comes away from the backing paper like a gooey mess. It's hard to describe anything like it, but imagine a thin viscous chewing gum, with an image on top. While it may not tear when placed and stretched onto the final surface, it will be impossible to get straight again and the image will distort. I can only imagine that the other reviews on this page are bots. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Simple to work with. Professional looking results! *by M***Y on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on October 26, 2020* I needn't have bothered being concerned about the negative reviews, as I found this paper extremely simple to use. It's a little thicker than the transparent equivalent, but not enough to worry about.It printed easily, without a smudge and once coated with three light mists of a clear spray (I used Hycote Clear Lacquer, which dried smooth and glossy), was watertight. I'm not sure how much difference it makes, but I sprayed my sheet *before* cutting the decals out, as I think if it's done afterwards, you risk sealing the cut edges, which may account for the dreadful time some people have had removing them from the backing.Application was relatively simple, if a little fiddly, but then I have arthritis, which makes fine adjustments a little finicky. There are a lot of very good tutorials on YouTube on how to apply them most successfully. Slow and steady is the key for me.Once positioned and smoothed on, ten minutes in a 100 deg oven was enough to bake the decal to the mug. There is the slightest of lips at the edges, as you can see on the pictures, but then, I used a white sheet when I had meant to use a transparent one, and I didn't cut all the way to the edge of the design, like I normally would with any type of transfer paper that wasn't the same colour as the substrate.
