This is a great timer switch. Has been installed and working great for about 2months now.

Seems to work well, mostly. Sometimes there are issues getting the buttons to register and you need to press them multiple times to start the timer. The blue LEDs are bright and can serve as a dim night light in a bathroom. I have these in each of my bathrooms. They are very stylish with our room decor. They run a bit warm to the touch. I am guessing that it's some resistor in the circuit that they are running hot for current limiting or voltage reduction. I used these to replace similar switches from a different manufacturer that ended up burning out at about the same time in my bathrooms. I took them both apart and found a couple of parts that were running warm/hot, as the circuit board and the parts had charring. I repair electronics and these were beyond repair. The replacement parts were more than a new switch costs. Pay attention to the variety of timing options so that they fit your needs. Similar switches from other manufacturers have different timings that you may or may not prefer. I liked this one the best. Easy, standard installation as any other light switch. You may or may not be able to install these yourself, due to building codes in your area.

This is a utilitarian looking, straightforward, timer. The lights are always on unless you hold the big button for about 5-seconds then the fan stays on forever but the lights are out. If you want a functional device and you’re comfortable with wiring this is a good device. One thing to note. When it’s dark the blue LEDs are quite bright. Not sure why they used blue. But if you want to have a timer on your fan, or you need to steer ships away from the rocks or if you’re landing planes at night in your bathroom, this is your huckleberry.

It was easy to install and functions as it should. The lights are quite bright. Nice to be able to set a timer and walk away.

I bought three of these to control my bathroom exhaust fans. The price was fair for this type of switch. These are made in China. They are UL listed. There is a two-year warranty. The installation instructions included are easy to understand, especially the wiring diagram. Follow them! Turn off the electricity for the circuit at the breaker. You must have a white neutral wire in the box for this switch to work. In my case (I installed mine in a box with more than one switch), all the white wires were bundled together with a wire nut and shoved to the back of the box. Look for the white wire(s). I had two black wires going to the existing switch: one was for the line (supplying electricity to the switch) and one was for the load (sending electricity to the fan/light when switched on). If not labeled, to determine which is which, you can use a volt-ohm meter. Be careful because you will have to turn the power back on to test this. With the switch off, make contact with a white wire with one VOM probe and with the other probe touch the black wire. Whichever black wire reads voltage, that’s the line wire. The other black wire that reads no voltage with the switch off is the load. Before proceeding, turn off the electricity at the breaker. Now it’s just a simple matter of following the wiring diagram and matching the colors. Use the included wire nuts and securely twist them down on the wires you’re connecting. Operation is almost self-explanatory. The switch has blue LED lights that function as night lights (they can be a bit bright). People leave fans running and walk away. These stop that problem and save on electricity.

As a fan timer, it works. It’s cheaper than Intermatic, BUT I will not buy this one again. I do NOT like the oddly bright blue led lights that are always on. One for the time and one on/off button. Intermatic timer uses a soft green led ONLY when it’s on. No lights are on when it’s off. Finally, it doesn’t “count down” like the Intermatic. For example, if you set it for 30 mins, the 30 min light is on until time expires. Intermatic will count down, 30,15,10,5 then off. If you want a cheap timer for your rental, this works fine. For your everyday bathroom? Not for me.

This review is based on 10 years of daily use (2015) in our bathroom. Unit worked great after installation. After a few years the buttons started getting a little loose from use but nothing bad. For the price, a good deal

I am really bothered by bathroom fans that seem to be left on forever. I previously purchased some little spring loaded timers - wind them all the way and they stay on for an hour. The spring seemed to give out on tow of the three that I purchased. I purchased 1 Enerlites 30-minute countdown timer switch - easy to install. The buttons are a little confusing, but I got over that by day #2. Ended up purchasing 2 more timers - so all bathrooms with showers were covered. These were not the cheapest, but the build quality seemed solid, reviews were good, and I liked the way the light almond matched our existing wall plates and switches. Just make sure you understand the “Load” wire - the individual wire that runs to the fan, light, etc. I really like these switches.

Great value, easy to install, works as advertised. It can be inconvenient to have to go back to the bathroom to turn off the exhaust fan so this product 100% solves this problem. It is best to have this timer switch than not, especially for landlords with tenants who don't care about their property, as it will encourage them to get rid of the moisture after showers without worrying about unnecessarily paying for electricity. We've installed this whole pack and previous units without any issues. Although we do wish there is an override to keep it on past 30 minutes for the odd time we need it for longer.

I installed these in two bathrooms as the fans could run for hours if no one was around to turn them off manually. Fan exhausts 50cfm X 60 minutes means 3000 cubic feet of warm air jettisoned per hour! The 1, 5, 10, 15, 20 & 30 minute buttons are perfect intervals for showers and for even the worst smells. Installation was tight as the timer casing is deep. I installed alongside the light switch in a deep 2-gang box and all the wiring still had to be tucked over behind the light switch - No room left behind the timer. The blue LEDs provide just enough reflected light at night to see without being intrusive. (Looking directly at them could be a little piercing in the dark). Bonus: The button to start/stop the fan has no printing on it - That means there is nothing to fade or wipe off over time. I used to have a dial fan timer where the numbers wore off after a few years. The timer still worked perfectly, but it looked crappy.

Looked high & low for a reasonably priced ivory bathroom fan timer control switch. This seems to fit the bill just right. What I love most about it is you select the time to run, & then just use the on/off after that over & over again to control it. And really, some people have gone on about the brightness of the 2 blue lights that's on this model: 0 to 30 minutes, that you can't turn off. But, I really don't find it all that bright. They have another one from 0 to 4hrs. that you can program the lights off if it's really going to bother you. I called the company before buying to find out the depth it sits in the electrical box, as I couldn't find the info here, or even on the manufacturers web site. I'll share it here, as the courteous young man on the end of the line was kind enough to measure it being 1.5 inches/3.81 cm deep from the setting ears to the back/bottom of the switch. It fit without any problems & room behind it to spare in the electrical box. Also, yes you need a neutral wire to make it work properly, but this isn't an issue if wired between the circuit breaker & the fan it's going to control, meaning, a power in black(power)/white(neutral)/ground to the switch & a power out black(load)/white(neutral)/ground from the switch to the fan. If the switch is after the fan on the circuit & at the end of that run then you'll need a black/red/white/ground to control the fan & for this switch to function properly. If not practical to change the wiring if the latter is the installation then a mechanical/spring wind up is your better option which in my case, this switch has replaced.
