Works well, plows through most everything at a pretty good pace. Sometimes roots get entwined and need to be cleared, as to be expected and not difficult to do. Lightweight, not too big to handle, and has a safety mechanism that works well. Gets right down in the dirt.

This works great if you till your garden to loosen the soil. Actually used to start a new one and removed the grass. Impressed fir the money. Easy to use.

I'm 5'3" woman so I can't have something too large. I bought one tiller a couple years ago off Marketplace. It was awful got it started once right when I got home and that was it. Too much power and I think was permanently in the fast position so it would drag even large men. So I thought I should spend some money and buy a nice tiller. I bought a Husquvarna that had been used once and was amazing! But it was hard to control and hard to start and it was so large that I didn't want to use it. Then I moved this summer and had to leave it due to space. So now I am buying my third tiller in 2.5 years and I decided, "You know what, I need something electric. Something I don't have to pull a stupid cord 100 x and it needs to be smaller." I decided I'd rather had it a little smaller but not overwhelming and too powerful. I just used this for the first time and love it! Smaller but still a good size. I live on a little over an acre and honestly, I will probably do the top of all my entire yard. It HOPS so I leaned it towards me and pulled it towards me. Within 10 mins a rock got stuck in the tines. I thought I could just knock it out. Wrong. Messed up one tine and had to take it off to bend it back out. Then I put it back on. I live in Appalachian mountains and its all rock up her. Took the ground like a champ. When this breaks, I'm buying another. I LOVE IT!

Plenty of power, thrashed up the planting soil very nicely. Wish I'd owned one years ago.

Just assembled. Missing one of the two scews/bolts (3.9x19) needed to connect switchbox to handle. I've never roto-tilled before and as i was looking for youtube assistance on assembly, I noticed that other tillers have WHEELS. I'm 70, female, and I'm worried about my shoulder "assemblies"! Not looking forward to carrying this to my garden/lawn areas.
