Is the item sold as a pair

I believe they were. It is some time ago that I bought this item.

Does this just close softly, or does it also swing the door wide open like others? Thanks

It opens the door like all the hinges and it soft closes.

What hinge mounting plate does this go with?

I changed the hinge from a blum standard to a slow close hinge , so the mounting plate was the same for both hinges

Is this the 35 mm size hin

No measurement that is 35mm on that hinge that I can see.
