They replace a 10 year old set of full carbon CAT-1 shoes that I loved until they fell apart. The are lighter weight and appear to be reasonably well made. Maybe not as robust as my old CAT-1s but we will see over time. The fit is very good, the one turn adjustment makes getting in and out a breeze. Even though the sole is not full carbon these are plenty stiff for all but the most die hard professional racer. Regrettably they only had my size in white and, well, they are white. What can I say?
