Teacher Created Resources Fun Size 1" Grid Better Than Paper Bulletin Board Roll (TCR77906)

This stuff is fantastic for D&D or similar games that use a 1-inch grid. Much less expensive and more versatile than pre-printed battle mats. I put a few sections in 18x24 top loaders to make compact sturdy maps. You can pre-draw immovable features in sharpie. It wipes off using the dry erase trick.

Easy to use and perfect size for my smaller bulletin board. Good quality and looks great!

Bought this for an easy cheap map solution for D&D and it’s perfect. Works with dry erase markers, cleans easily (might have to use a damp paper towel), and easy to cut!

This stuff is great for DMs and D&D players--an equivalent dry erase battlemat costs far more. A twelve-foot roll cut into four sections will cover a more or less 3' x 6', which is a pretty big area to play on--and of course, you have the option of configuring it in other ways. The reason I give it four stars is that it's NOT actually a 1" grid, despite how its advertised. It's a 25mm grid--which shouldn't be a problem for most gamers, as our "one-inch" minis are actually 25 mm ... But it is a little weird when you've cut it into four sections 36-squares long each--and you have three squares left over at the end. That's because an inch is 25.4 mm, but this grid is only 25 mm.

This was perfect for a small bulletin board that will be used to help students with understanding the parts of the coordinate plane.

Not 1" graduations. If that matters this product isn't for you. I was hoping to use it as a template for tracing out some designs for woodworking. It isn't precise in its 1" graduation. Fine for educational purposes I'm sure. For anything more precise it isn't up to the task.

I bought rolls of this to use as dry erase boards for my students. Works excellent and have lasted me all school year.
