Anker Saves the Day (and My MacBook Ports!)
Okay, let's be real. If you're a MacBook user, especially with one of the newer models, you know the struggle is real when it comes to ports. Seriously, it feels like Apple decided we don't need to plug anything in anymore. That's where this Anker USB C Hub swoops in like a superhero. I've been using this 7-in-1 adapter for a bit now, and it's pretty much become an essential part of my setup. First off, it's Anker, so you expect a certain level of quality, and it delivers. It feels solid, not flimsy like some cheaper hubs I've tried. The main reason I grabbed this was for the 4K HDMI, and it works flawlessly. Plugging it into my MacBook Air and then out to my external monitor (a 1440p, so not quite 4K but super crisp), the picture quality is perfect. No flickering, no lag, just a clear, extended desktop. Beyond the HDMI, having extra USB-A ports is a lifesaver. I can finally plug in my wireless mouse dongle, an external hard drive, and still have room for a flash drive or my keyboard without having to play musical chairs with my dongles. The USB-C passthrough charging is also super handy so I don't lose a port just to power my laptop. It's super easy to use – literally plug and play. No drivers, no software, just connect it and everything works. It's compact enough to throw in my bag without taking up much space, which is great for when I'm working from different spots. If you're constantly juggling adapters or wishing your MacBook had just *one* more port, this Anker hub is a no-brainer. It brings back all the essential connectivity you need in one well-made, reliable little package. Highly recommend!

Perfect piece.
Fits perfect and looks great. Has all the plugs that I need. Shipping was quick and it works perfectly. Value for the money was online and it connects to the computer flawlessly with the ability to charge. It is mall and almost weightless and fits in my backpack pocket and I forget it’s there. It has some many options to plug in that it’s compatible with everything.

Costs a little more than other connector hubs, but it's worth it
Way superior design. I bought another hub for my Mac about a year ago that was connected by a cord, and the weight of the HDMI cable made the connection to the USB-C become unstable when moved. This two USB-C connection design is so much more stable, and is future proofed for my connectivity needs with all the extra ports.

Very handy with a couple of minor issues
Works well and is very well built. No wires needed to attach it, but obviously you are going to have wires anyway to hook up your devices. Overall this is an excellent product and well worth the money. Nevertheless I removed one star for two minor gripes. The first is that while the unit plugs in securely, it does separate from my notebook a bit especially at the far end away from the plugs that connect it to my laptop. This doesn’t seem to affect performance but I find it a bit annoying having to periodically push it back to retighten it. The second is that the card reader sits too low in the unit and is difficult to access unless you tilt the computer to insert your card. Again, this is a minor issue but since I bought the computer specifically for photo processing it is a bit annoying for my use. Overall, otherwise a great product and it’s small size, portability, and many inputs make it a great investment. I recommend it.

Perfect addition to MacBook Air
Exactly what I wanted. Provides multiple different interfaces/types, as Apple has chosen to simplify their native interfaces. Unit is small, hardly notice it is there at all. Easy to plug in and out, but stays put. No problems with the mag charging port, that is fully accessible. Totally compatible with everything I have plugged in so far.

Perfect Hub for MacBook Air - A Work from Home Must-Have!
I’ve been using the Anker 547 USB-C Hub (7-in-2) for my MacBook Air at my work-from-home office, and it has been an absolute game-changer. As someone who relies heavily on a seamless, efficient setup, this hub has exceeded my expectations and fits perfectly into my daily workflow. The compatibility with Thunderbolt 4 USB-C ports on my MacBook Air is flawless. The plug-and-play functionality made it incredibly easy to set up – it was literally a matter of plugging it in, and I was good to go. The hub’s design is sleek and compact, blending in perfectly with my MacBook, and doesn’t take up much space on my desk. The variety of ports is what makes this hub stand out. With 4K HDMI, USB-C, and two USB-A data ports, it offers everything I need. I can connect my external monitor through the HDMI port, which supports 4K resolution, making my work-from-home experience much more productive with a dual-screen setup. The additional USB ports allow me to connect all my peripherals like a mouse, keyboard, and external hard drive simultaneously. What I appreciate most is the reliability and speed of the data transfer. Whether I’m transferring large files, streaming video meetings, or juggling multiple tasks, this hub keeps up without any lag or connection issues. It’s built to handle a heavy workload, and it shows. Moreover, the Anker 547 doesn’t get overly hot, which is a testament to its build quality and design. This was a major plus for me, as it reassures me about its longevity and stability, even after hours of continuous use. The Anker 547 USB-C Hub is a stellar accessory for my MacBook Air and an essential component of my work-from-home setup. Its reliability, variety of ports, and seamless integration with my MacBook have made my workday more efficient and less cluttered. I highly recommend it to any MacBook user looking for a high-quality, versatile hub that won’t disappoint.

Works Great So Far!
I needed a USB hub for my new Macbook Air, which only has two USB C ports. I decided to try this one and so far it's worked great. I like it because it mounts flush with the computer and doesn't dangle. It does take up both of the USB ports on the Mac, but that's ok. It fits perfectly and does not cover up the magnetic charging port. At first it wasn't working, but then I was able to push it in a little tighter and it was fine. I haven't moved the computer around, but from what I can tell the hub seems to be securely attached. It includes two USB A ports and two USB C ports, which is what I was looking for. It also has a couple of other types of ports which I probably won't be using. One of the USB C ports is for "pass through charging" as well as data transfer. Some hubs do not transfer data through their charging port, but this one does both. I haven't had this long, but it worked fine when I used one of the USB A ports to transfer my files from an external drive that Carbonite sent me. My previous computer was a Windows PC, and Carbonite's backup program is not compatible across platforms, so my only choice was to have them send an external drive. The file transfers went quickly and smoothly. I also used the powered USB C port with an external CD drive which I also purchased from Amazon. The instructions on the drive said to not use a hub but to plug it directly into the computer. I did not want to remove the hub to use the CD drive, so I decided to try the USB C port which included the power. The CD drive worked perfectly. I'm also using one of the USB A ports for the little plug which came with my old wireless mouse, and it is also working great. So far, I'm very happy with this hub!
