Although the ShelterLogic 4' x 4' x 3' Outdoor Pet Shade and Sun Shelter is Not live load rated, it is designed with 1" (in). / 2,5 cm. diameter steel frame that gives the pet shelter strength and stability all around and a cover that is made of heavy-duty fire-rated and water-resistant 300 polyester material that is UV treated to block harmful UVA and UVB rays. Our customers find the Pet Shelter to be very sturdy when it comes to protecting their pets from the rain and Sun. Please note we do recommend securing the Pet Shelter to the ground with the Two 15"-(in). all-steel auger anchors; the anchors comes with the Pet Shelter.
