Nice build quality - works perfectly
Nice design and build quality. Works perfectly with sustained high speed. It comes with a built-in USB-C cable. The cable is around 20cm including the plug - perfect for a laptop. Fora desktop, the cable is a bit too short to connect to the main plugs at the back of the machine. I connect it to a USB-C plug I have at the front of the case, (to avoid using extensions).

Very bad card reader
It stopped working within 2 months, after just 3 times usage. Cheap things never last.

High quality CFexpress A reader from Sabrent
Sabrent is a very well known manufacturer of high quality products. This CFexpress A reader from them doesn’t disappoint. It is an all metal reader with an attached short USB C cable. There’s a blue LED on the top corner to indicate operation. I attached this reader directly to my MacBook Air M2 and inserted a Pergear 1Tb CFexpress A card. It is a spring loaded slot and it went in confidently. Removing the card involved pressing it into the reader gently and releasing, the card pops out easily. Blackmagic designs disk test shows read and write exactly as in the specifications of the card. I would highly recommend this quality CFexpress A reader from Sabrent
