We used this set on our first camping trip and it held up really well. The pieces heat through quickly and evenly, and I was pleasantly surprised at how easy they were to clean—even with limited water. Everything wiped down smoothly, which makes a big difference when you’re camping. A couple of small notes: watch the rivets holding the handle on, since food like oatmeal can get stuck in there (lesson learned!). Also, keep an eye on the kettle when boiling water—there isn’t a lid or whistle on the spout, so you’ll need to watch for bubbles instead. That said, the pans haven’t shown any signs of wear after first use, and the whole set stores compactly, making it a good fit for both car camping and backpacking.
