Can you cut it narrower (20mm)? The external dimension of my ladder is 20mm x 70mm.

Yes, you can reduce the size as they are made of solid rubber.

Do they go over the leg of the ladder or inside the legs.

They fit inside the leg. There is a video for fitting on our website if you would like to view. Thanks henrys-ladders

do these feet have a strong smell, like creosote?

After use any smell disappeared. However, I do recall them smelling of rubber when new, but not creosote.

Is there 2 in a pack.

Hi There. Yes there are 2 in a pack, so you will need 2 packs to replace all your feet in 1 ladder.
