CARPRO CQUARTZ DLUX Wheel and Trim Coat 30mL - Ceramic Coating UV Protection for Wheels and Exterior Plastics, Rubber, and Metals

There are a number of good wheel coatings but to me this one is the best combination of easy application and result. It gives you a lot of working time and levels out very easily. Nice gloss and good hydrophobics.

A reliable, well-proven manufacturer - Carpro. Use DLUX on NEW and/or we'll cleaned wheels. It lays down a heat-resistant hydrophobic layer that WILL NOT STOP brake dust from accumulating within the wheel barrel and spokes. However, the brake dust is prevented from setting up a home on the wheels and spokes. Regular wheel cleaning is soo much easier because there is no (or miniscule ability to) fir brake dust to bond to the raw wheel material. There's a good gloss/shine when applied correctly. DLUX flashes quickly, or quicker than some similar finished. RTFM!!! Using the supplied application block and felt is best reserved for your fattest surfaces like the barrels. You'd get maximum mileage by using the application felt/suede whatever with your fingers or some microfiber pad that's flexible and controllable. Work small areas of the front/back spokes... let the area flash (RTFM) then buff off... then move on. Apply two (2) coats for durability and gloss. It's safe to use on calipers faces - the areas you can see. RTFM!!!!!!

This stuff is AWESOME! I had tried so many other products to restore plastic trim on my cars and none of them last longer than a week, this has been on my car for 6 months and STILL looks like I put it on yesterday! It's a little pricey but it's a quality product worth every penny for how much better it makes my car look! 10/10 would recommend

Works great on trim! Makes it look brand new pretty much. However If you have any polish marks on your black trim like I did then highly suggest you scrub those out. I usually use tire shine and it hides the old polish on my trim but this didnt. I used UK 3.0 on my rims and I'm glad I did that was much easier to apply and remove. This has a long working time which is nice but I feel that UK 3.0 was better for my needs. I'm sure I'll be buying another bottle in a year or so if it last that long.

Worked really well for a DIY coating on new wheels. Fairly easy to apply and I have some left over even after overdoing it on 4 complex 18x9 wheels.

I used this along with Gliss to coat my wheels on a new vehicle purchase. Keeping the wheels clean is a breeze. Most brake dust and dirt just rinses right off the wheels without any mechanical scrubbing. Even when I have to physically wash the wheels with a brush or wooly it takes minimal effort to get the wheels clean. I would recommend applying this coating and pairing it with Carpro Gliss. For my application, I took the wheels off so that I can fully clean them prior to application and ensure I got the barrels and backside of the wheel as well. Taking the wheels of took a bit more time, but the results are worth it.

I've purchase a few bottles so far. If your trim is clean prior to application you can get MONTHS of fresh, original-looking trim. It's not too shiny, it's just right. I've used it on trim, mirrors, etcetera and I'm now a CARPRO diehard.

I like that it doesn't end up being super glossy. I was shooting for a good darkening effect on the black trim of my Toyota Tacoma. This does exactly as I had hoped, darkened them up considerably but without the gloss of a typical dressing. So far a couple weeks into the coating, looks just the same as the day I applied it. Washes easily, repels water as expected. Used about 1/8 of the bottle for all 4 door handles and 4 fender flares, and rear bumper & tailgate handle. Should have enough left over to apply to the inner fender well plastics, as well as the door & window trims, with some left over for some suspension components maybe? Shall see. If the product holds true to it's longevity, I'll move it into my workflow for trim restoration as part of my detail profession. While it's cost prohibitive for some people, I think it's well worth the investment. Time will tell if it stands the test of time, but so far it's outperforming a dressing by a long shot so I have high hopes that it still looks this good come winter.

Très durable! J’ai un VR 2013 avec dessus du pare-chocs avant noire qui était rendu grise à cause du soleil au fil des années. J’ai simplement passé le produit sur le plastique du pare-chocs devenu gris avec le temps et il est devenu instantanément noir luisant et ce pour pratiquement tout l’été. À la fin de l’été, on pouvait voir le noir s’estomper légèrement, une autre application de quelques minutes a rehaussé la couleur noir d’origine. C’est le seul produit que j’ai acheté qui a duré aussi longtemps et avec un très beau fini malgré la pluie, le soleil etc.
