Strategy and planning is the game
This is a fun game that involves a lot of strategic thinking and planning. The rules can feel a bit complicated, so it is not a game to pick up quickly and games can last over an hour, but there is a lot of room to make shorter or longer games.

Fun game for the whole family - yes, even the grownups!
This review is for Renegade Game Studios' Robo Rally board game. The Good: Quality parts - nothing feels cheap or poorly made. The Bad: The rules. The Ugly: Absolutely nothing. The Long Review: I ran into this game when a friend of mine brought it over for game night one evening. I loved it so much after the first game we played, I ordered my own before we started the second game! It's fun, addictive, and it makes you think - something that I assumed would be easy for grownups, harder for the kids, and boy was I wrong! After the first couple rounds, all of us were going, "Okay, so I wasn't counting my moves correctly..." or "Yeah, I turned the wrong way..." and the chaos that occurred from these mistakes just made the game even more hysterical to play! It's also nice to note - you can't die in the game. At no point can your robot just stop working. Every time you're damaged, you simply take cards that can cause random movements from your robot - which again, adds to the hilarity. Our first game took about half an hour or so to play, and that was with us learning the rules along the way. We tried a more advanced game play and had 6 check points! After two hours, we still weren't finished the game, but most of us had captured about half of the check points. So, yes - an advanced game can go for a long time, especially with a lot of people playing! The only "Bad" out of it all is some of the rules can hurt your brain initially, at least until you just shrug and say, "Okay, that's just how it is" and move on. Mainly, it was the conveyor belt curves and how the robots rotate on the belts, or not, depending on if they move onto the curved part, or approach the curved part while riding on the belt. But once we got that part through our thick heads, the game was a blast. Final Thoughts: While the price seems a little steep for a fun and fast-paced board game, I cannot stress enough the level of quality and detail that went into it. It's well worth the money, you're going to get a lot of fun times out of it. Also, there are expansions available, so you can refresh the game if it ever gets stale for you!

Lots of fun for game night!
This is an awesome game. I played it once as a kid and kept thinking about it throughout the years and finally bought it. Everyone I have played with has had a blast once they understood the concept. It takes about two rounds to really understand what is going on, but after those first two rounds, it becomes very straightforward and loads of fun. Both my kids nephews and my adult friends really like it, so it is good for a variety of ages!

Roborally is my favorite game so im very bias lol
I love Roborally. I think the rules are a bit poorly written but the game is well designed. And it has a lot of levels, but also the movement is partly random, so replaying the same levels is still fun. It is very replayable.

Highly recommend
Great game, easy to learn and set up. Probably want to incorporate a time cap on how long people get to set their cards for each turn, I recommend one minute or a 30 second timer that you start as soon as the first person finishes setting their cards. Very high replayability!

Challenges your spatial reasoning
Robo Rally is not that hard to learn, but actual playing can be very challenging and very frustrating. I like this unique game; in that it challenges your spatial reasoning (How many games can claim that challenge). The results are hilariously frustrating. Because it is so frustrating, I don't like playing with pompous cut-throats, or the extra expansion cards. My grandson took the challenge of creating his own floor maps, so, it can be educational in multiple creative ways. You can even play it solo. Warning: if you can not handle frustration, this game is not for you...or maybe it is just what you need.

Really fun intro to coding game
Relatively simple game with lots of surprises and variations to play through. Yet it can get maddeningly complicated very fast, even for people that code for a living. Lots of fun along the way, although it is best with at least 4 players. If playing with 2-3 players I would recommend adding "bots" that just randomly play cards from the haywire/spam deck. It adds a pretty fun spin to the game.

Robo Rally tranformed
Cool board game. The original seems to be better, but this one is also fun and engaging

Excelente
Muy divertido el juego de mesa, mientras más jugadores sean es mejor, el juego está en inglés, pero las reglas son muy fáciles de aprender y con la práctica y juego constante te aprendes todo sin recurrir a traductores.
