K cup exploded grinds went everywhere new machine just recieved it Friday it happened at the end of the cycle. Any suggestion beside returning it?

Are you using the black insert with your K-cup? I grind the beans and make one cup a day. Got it for Xmas and by May it was sputtering, leaking and making a mess until it just died. Cuisinart was great at replacing it, but it's not as wonderful as I was hoping.
