What is the expected life of these bulbs?

I would guess 3-4 yrs. I ride my bike about 18000 miles per yr, and the bulb is lit whenever the bike is running. I sure love the bright white light. With this bulb, I don't really need my 2 other driving lights on. I ride a cruiser.

is this a low beam replacement?

This is a high bean replacement. 65 watts whereas the low is 55 watts.

No, this is single filament 2 wire HIGH beam 65 watts 9005. The 9006 LOW is 55 watts.
