FTA HD Terrestrial (3in1 Compact). Free delivery and returns on eligible orders. Review: Great little combo receiver box. - I was a bit concerned from some of the reviews but needn't have been. This receiver does everything it claims to be able to do. For anyone trying to tune satellite channels it's not as simple as a Sky box but it's still easy enough if you follow the very simple and clear instructions in the manual. For £34 it's well worth the money. Hopefully it will last a good while. Update 12/06/2018: After using the unit for a few days I noticed that the picture on the HD channels was not as smooth as it should be, i.e., slightly slow motion-ish would be the best way to decribe it. This was on the terrestrial (aerial) digital tuner, haven't tested it yet on the satellite tuner. This turned out to be due to the very basic HDMI cable that comes with the unit. I swapped it out for a much better quality HDMI cable and it solved the problem. The HD channels are now smooth and flawless. Review: Works well when you get to know it! - This little box works well but you have to spend time working out all the functions as the instructions do not tell you all you need to know. Very good picture quality but the down side is that the EPG or (program guide) only tells you the current program and the next one. It is also not the easiet to set the record timer. It will do what it says if you stick with it and get to know it. For what this little box costs it is a very good purchase.

Simply awful
So after our Sky box needed replacing, we thought it'd be a nice idea to switch to a freesat box just for basic free tv channels, and the idea of one which had the multifunctional capacity to also connect to an aerial was good! However, since the purchase of the box, we really struggled to connect the box up to the necessary satalite line. After the expense of a satalie engineer coming to the house to see if it was a problem with our satellite (which it wasn't), he managed to connect the box up to the correct line and it was really not user friendly. The remote is cheap with no straightforward clear buttons such as 'guide' and all the channels we did get were in a mixed up order, with channel 4 appearing several times consecutively and other key channels completely missing. Also, the box provides you with about 300 channels you'd never even consider watching. The box itself also had bits of cellotape sticking out around the edges, and I saw little 'hd ready' evidence from the strange continental channels we received. I'm trying to think of one plus point but it was honestly the worst £40 I'd ever spent.

Brilliant value for money
If you are willing to put in the work it is an excellent device and very easy to use. It has lots of features but setting up takes time. Once that is done it is brilliant value for money.

You get what you pay for.
The sole purpose for buying this product was to allow me to receive my local news channels as I live in an awkward TV reception area. The satellite connection allows me access to these channels which I cannot get through the aerial connection. For this purpose the product is adequate but it is difficult to set up. It took at TV professional nearly 45 minutes to set up on the satellite connection only. The instruction book is printed in small text which almost blends into the background colour and the only way I could read it was to take a smart phone photo and enlarge the text. Elderly people and those with poor eyesight would almost certainly suffer similar problems. Once tuned the channels appear in a somewhat random order with numbers starting at 2000. It will take hours to locate favourite channels - my local BBC channel number is 2042! The product description shows a FreeSat logo but neither the packaging or literature refers to FreeSat. It refers to it as a free to air & satellite receiver. My TV engineer has installed many FreeSat products and chose this iView box because it the website information shows the FreeSat logo. To this extent, I feel that the product is being mis-described. The remote control is not supplied with batteries the two AAA batteries required. It is also very sensitive to use and great care is needed to ensure that numbers are not entered twice. It frequently take me two or three attempts to enter the four digit channel numbers. Great care is also needed when pointing the remote control at the receiver. It only really works when pointed directly in front of the box. The box is doing what I needed it for but I would have been disappointed if this was my main TV source. Overall, I would not really recommend this product and would suggest spending the extra and buying something with a better build quality.

Average
The unit is NOT hd on terrestrial and fails to pick up many channels including Dave yesterday pick challenge really etc, etc. The satellite although hd fails in the same way using astra, but I found using hotbird resolved this. This unit claims you can delete movies made on usb stick but you cannot delete anything unless you use a computer.i do like the way you can combine satellite and terrestrial channels together in any order you wish, and also watch one program whilst recording another. This is not too easy to set up but for the money it's ok.

HD Combo Full HD Freeview receiver
This arrive before the scheduled date. I have a Free-view TV but after setting this up I had 11 more channels that are not on my TV. I have not used the satellite function as I don't have a dish but I will fit one soon and have a further selection of TV channels all free The HD channels are really good. A marvelous piece of equipment at a bargain price.

Great value dual Digibox.
This item works very well and is good value as it can be used with either Freeview , Freesat or both. I have seen some negative reviews for this product and I think this is due to the manual which admittedly is almost useless. If you are prepared to take a bit of time and some trial and error once you have set this unit up I think it will serve you well.
