I don't want to give less than a 5 star review. However, although the stitcher does its job, unfortunately the needle becomes loose and twists around. It's been tightened as tight as possible. Could I get a needle with a larger diameter shank? The needle point does the job well, going through several layers with no problem. Just need it to stay put in the stitcher.

I used mine to sew up the seams of a heavy duty PVC tackle bag as used for Rugby and American Football training. It was damaged at the seams and I managed to bring it back to life. I bought this item, watched a few videos on YouTube and got stuck in. Not the tidiest sewing job ever undertaken and I doubt my invite to Paris Fashion Week is in the post but it was very effective and the results are good and strong so hopefully it’ll last a few more seasons!

It is easy to use! My only problem was that the needle slips sometime. A radial groove would solve the problem, and kept the needle in place.

Used to repair the tilt of my classic car. Straightforward to use , there are inline video tutorials. Provided a strong repair.

Ideal for stitching dog hammock in car

Having never used one of these tools, I found it difficult to work with. The bobbin is next to useless if using waxed threads, don't know how it would work with normal thread. In the end, I used a different AWL tool without a bobbin and it worked much better with weed threads. So new users, beware and look for a better AWL if you're planning leather stitch work.

Perfect for repairing my garden chairs where some of the stitching on the seats had rotted. It took me about 5 minutes to learn how to use it. Not quick but a very strong and secure repair. Recommended.

It was not suitable for the repair of my boat cover as needles too big in diameter. It needed far too much effort to get the needle through for each thread. A smaller diameter needle could be put to far more uses. I would not want to punch holes that size if repairing my sails for example. More suitable for sack cloth

Un outil très pratique quant on coud du cuir. Il faut avoir la technique pour l'utiliser cela dit, le mieux est de regarder des tutos sur le net avant de se lancer.
