good product, did the job easily
Fantastic vacuum. It got all the green gunk out of my pool edges. It's a 15 ft above ground and my grandson did it for me whilst inside the pool, and only spent about 20 minutes on it. It got all the little debris that collects in the middle as well. Cleaning it was a quick rinse with the hose. I got it on sale too. The best pool cleaning purchase of mine ever! There's a lot of wrinkles in the liner but a few passes got everything. Suction was good. I charged it but didn't use it right away so I had to re-charge it. It charges up quickly enough.

Great for a kiddie turned duck pool
Edited after a couple uses: I love it! When i start cleaning the pool after the ducks have only used it once, i can get it back to almost clean in about 30 minutes, but it's not 30 minutes of labor. I vacuum for about 3 minutes, rinse the filter, vacuum another 3 minutes, rinse the filter, and then leave the vacuum in the pool propped on bricks and hooked to the side so it acts like a regular pool cleaner. The tank needs to be fully submerged, but it's enough pressure to make a full whirlpool in the 100 gallon kiddie pool. I've attached photo and video. A dirty filter after 3 minutes of vacuuming duck pool floor and a video that shows the circulation of water with the vacuum running on its own. I've only used it once, but so far I'm impressed. I big this to clean my ducks' pool. I have four pekins in a hundred gallon kiddie pool, and they make a mess as you can imagine. Normally I use a submersible pump to empty it and water my garden, but unless it's a hundred degrees all week, my garden doesn't need a much water as this pool holds as often as the pool really needs to be dumped. I tried the vacuum today on three day old pool water and the fine filter worked amazing! I think of i get out there each day i can really make the pool water last longer. Four anyone saying it doesn't pick anything up, I had that issue initially; the vacuum canister needs to be fully submerged in order to suck up debris. When i had it standing upright, nothing was really happening, but when I placed it in deeper water or layed it down a bit, stuff really started getting sucked in. The filters were all ready to clean and the vacuum is extremely quiet, much quieter than the shop vac I use to clear out the mud and poo from the drained pool.

I recommend it!
Pretty happy with this pool vacuum. I was looking for this specific design after 1) purchasing the Kimi pool vacuum on Amazon and 2) buying the Ryobi Pool Vacuum. The Amazon vacuum was a disaster. It made my work harder, got less suction power after a few minutes, didn't pick up much and was overall just so difficult to use (Kimi). Their support was quite blunt and not helpful at all. I waited so long to try the Ryobi Pool Vac. One day, it was available and got same day delivery. After cleaning my pool, I was shocked to open the battery compartment full of water! It damaged my battery and I'm still trying to get them to replace it! But it visibly cleaned up dirt from my pool at less suction power than the Kimi. And the filter design is an advanced version of the Octopus, but at far less cost.. It's lighter than the Ryobi. It has two speeds. It's easier to prime and start. It can work at more shallow depths. It's easier to push around my pool than the Kimi. And I visibly see what it picked up from my pool after one use. For those of you who are new to pool vacuums like I am, seeing the collection chamber look like a used mop bucket is what you're looking for! The Octopus, like the Ryobi, does that. The only con is pulling it out of the main pool when done cleaning without spilling the brown water back in. The Octopus doesn't have a filter cup like most. The Ryobi had an advanced filter cup with built in sediment cone filter. The Octopus has just the Sediment Cone Filter in the cup. So you have to keep it upright and hope that the mouth section retains enough of the dirty water. Or, have a bucket handy to immediately move the Octopus in while it leaks brown water out. Overall, it's not fancy. It doesn't have the best suction power. It doesn't have a lot of fine tuning design Ryobi's vac has. But it's a great value and it works. You can visually see the dirty water in the collection cup. I like this unit and recommend it as good value.

Perfect sweeper
This little vacuum is amazing! Iโve tried so many and this is by far the best! It cleans up everything big leaves and little pieces of dirt and lets nothing back out! It was easy to put together and already fully charged when I got it :) thanks for a great product I love it!

Great Power, Major Flaw
I was initially very impressed with this vacuum. The suction is powerful and it does a fantastic job of picking up debris from my pool and spa. It's also not too heavy and is easy to maneuver, making quick clean ups a breeze. The size and length are perfect, making it easy to store when I'm not using it. The battery life is pretty good, and the fair price was a big selling point for me. However, my positive experience was cut short by a major durability issue. A little over a month after I bought it, the scrub brush head snapped off completely while I was vacuuming. The tabs that are meant to hold it in place are broken, and I can't reattach it at all. It's a real shame because the core vacuum itself works great, but the design of the attachment is a major flaw. If you're considering this product, be aware that the brush head may not last.

Does the job!
Got primarily for dead algae and pollen that accumulates on steps and flat parts of in ground pool. So far it works fine. Charging time is fairly quick. Since I use it for short periods of time, but several times a week, it has more than enough power and charge for my purposes. Collects debris as expected. Like the easy filter wash up! Overall pleased with purchase. As for durability and dependability, time will tell. Will follow up if any issues.
