I purchased the Zwolf Mounting Bracket together with the myQ Chamberlain Garage Smart Hub (MYQ-G0401-ES because I had no intention of drilling holes in my garage ceiling to attach the smart hub. By using the Zwolf mounting bracket I saved about $100 I would have otherwise had to pay a handyman to install the hub for me. I still had to get on a ladder, but only to plug the hub's A/C adapter into the ceiling outlet and attach the mounting bracket and hub to the garage door opener bracket. It was really very easy. Just be sure to attach the hub before you attach the mounting bracket to the garage opener bracket. In other words, make sure you put the whole thing together first. I gave it 4 stars out of 5 for sturdiness because the whole thing is plastic, but it seems solid enough, and the hub itself is not heavy so it doesn't need to support much weight. The mounting bracket also comes with a piece of velcro that can be used to attach the hub's companion sensor to the garage door. I used it instead of the 2 sticky strips that came with the hub because I believe it is more secure and makes it easier to detach and reattach the sensor when it's battery needs to be replaced. I only installed this today so I can't tell how well it will last, but I don't see any reason why it should have any problems. I'm very glad I bought it. Amazon showed me a warning that this item was often returned, but I don't understand why. Perhaps some people thought it was absolutely required in order to install the hub. It's not, but it makes it much easier, and for me it was well worth the low price.

This bracket was very, very simple to install with a minimal of tools. The most difficult thing I had was getting up to the location I wanted to put it. But everything went together fine all the parts were there and now I have my base unit at a location that when the light strobes are warning that the door is gonna close it’s visible and the whole garage, which is what I’d wanted.. It’s a nice little ad on to have. It was real simple to add to the existing garage bracket Tree I’ve had it up there for probably over a year. It was very simple to install. It’s functional. It’s stable. I haven’t had to type anything so I would recommend that if you have a need for something similar to this.

Great solution for the Chamberlain door opener. You don't need to drill any holes or mount to drywall, just mount to the existing bracket already in place to hold your command unit (bridge) for the MyQ opener.
