Can a mouse carry these? I have put some out and they have disappeared

A rat, cat, dog, hedgehog or a squirrel could but a normal mouse would struggle because they are quite big. Make they only used in a bait box to prevent the wrong rodent getting them

Does this have a knock on effect to other wildlife? Say if rat eats it and then owl eats rat..

I had a pest controller who told me I wouldn't see any dead rats after he put poison down as they go underground to die, and he was correct. I have used this bait on four occasions myself, the rats disappeared and I never saw a dead one, so I think the bodies would not be consumed by other wildlife.I have on occasion shot rats near a shed, after being shot they all managed to get under the shed and when I went to look they were already dead.

It's too small for rats but perfect for mice. They eat the bait and take it back to the nest infecting the mice there. It's stores great and doesn't go off. There won't be any left overs if there is leave it in a place a fresh block in. It will get eaten. Get about 5 boxes and place them in different aces and I even put loose bait under there floor boards where a box wouldn't fit. Took about a month nut fingers crossed they are gone, big tip. Put a box where they are getting in. Then block it up

How effective is this and how long does it take to work? I need some sleep

The mice started to take the bait immediately, I am still putting out bait and it is still being taken three weeks later. I have not seen any dead mice as the bait is in a garden green house but I am sure that it is working.
