Perfect fit for Jacuzzi J-225
Identical motor that was on my 2020 model Jacuzzi j-225. Wiring was exactly the same, my old 2” PVC fittings mated perfectly and she mounted with my old motor clamp/mount perfectly. Even the old bleeder hose fitting screwed right in. 2 hour swap for me including taking 2 sides of the hottub off for easier access and the pump had to be “clocked” 90 degrees which is a simple task. Seems quieter than the old motor/pump since it is right outside our bedroom doors and the power seems about the same. A+ fit, form and function for me.

Worked Perfectly
Perfect fit. I installed this in a Jacuzzi 335 series. Pump motor #2. The motor is replaced was a 400 hp single speed. I installed a this new one which was a 2 speed. Not a problem. Can be simply wired as a single speed. Comes with instructions to do so. It took me one hour to replace motor after spa was empty. Easy Peazy. Motor runs great. I will buy again cause I noticed my pump motor #1 is leaking. It will be alot faster replacement for the second one. I do want to tell you to buy the new union seals and the nipple if you need one. Mine did. I bought in advance and had it when I changed it out.

Reasonably priced, good quality
Direct replacement for my Jacuzzi pump. Very quiet and functions as expected. Ordered the 2 stage pump. If it lasts anywhere near the timeframe of my original, I’ll be very pleased. Comparing the old and new in terms of metal and plastics, this was a good choice.

I bought it to replace jacuzzi j245 pump that seized. pretty much OEM and works nicely, let’s hope it lasts a good while.

Doesn’t move water. Must be rebuilt. Don’t buy.
