The setup was completely plug-and-play—no drivers or extra software needed. As soon as I connected it to my MacBook Pro, it instantly recognized the adapter, and my network speed jumped to full performance with no issues which is perfect for large file transfers and streaming. The build quality is excellent, with a sleek and durable design that matches the premium feel of the MacBook. The adapter stays cool even during extended use, and I haven’t experienced any dropped connections or lag. It’s also USB-IF certified, which gives me confidence that it’s reliable and safe for my device. I do not have gigabit internet, I use to transfer multi gig files, I have not used it for gaming. Ookla results were great for browsing, gaming, streaming and video call quality.

I bought this because my usb-c multi adapter with ethernet would disconnect from the network whenever my macbook pro M1 laptop went into sleep or suspend mode and the old adapter would require unplugging before the ethernet started working again. After consulting with multiple AI models and reading some redit posts I chose this adapter as it was supposed to fix this issue by being fully protocol compliant and I wanted something faster than 1 GBit. This worked immediately in my mac as soon as I plugged it in and hasn't dropped the connection a single time. It couldn't be easier to use. It fit perfectly in the USB-C port on my mac and seems ro be of very high quality. Wether or not the speed lives up to it's claim once I upgrade the switch it's plugged in to to one that can do 2.5 G, it is absolutely worth the money just for it's stability with the M1 macs which are notorious for disconnecting their USB devices when they come out of sleep or hibernation mode.

Great adaptor. No issues for my use cases on a 2.5G network. I have it connected via Cat6 to a UniFi enterprise switch and I get my advertised speeds with XFinity of ~2,100Mbps without issue. I even have this adapter plugged into the back of my Studio Display for a streamlined 1 cable setup when connecting to my laptop. I like that there are no additional software or drivers to install (on macOS at least). I have tried several other USB-C multi-gig adapters and they all fell short, except for this belkin one. They would overheat, randomly stop working, or the outer casing would completely fall off!

My internet provider here in the Phoenix, AZ area (Cox) installed 2 Gb fiber. When our house was built it was pre-wired with ethernet cable so my computers are hard wired. I have two Mac Mini computers that have your standard 10/100/1000 internet port. My router and my switches are all capable of handling 2500 internet (2.5 Gb). So in short both of my Mac Minis are now capable of 2.5 Gb data transfer using these Belkin Ethernet Adaptors.

Rated 4.5/5 Pro's: It does the job. Needed a ethernet adapter for our MBPro M4 Pro that works as advertised. Cons: At this price, a little bulky and the glossy black plastic finish seems rather cheap.

C'est le seul qui fonctionne réellement avec mon s23 ultra(les adaptateur des autres marques concurrente ne sont pas reconnu par le s23 ou ne sont pas stable au niveau de la connexion), il est stable apporte une connexion supérieure. Le prix est assez élevé mais c'est une certitude il fonctionne.
