The benefits seem endless. I first used this light bulb on my feet and ankle area. I have been having a lot of stiffness and pain in my ankles and feet. I did not use the provided white socket with clip because this bulb is heavy and needs to be in a lamp. I already owned a lamp that has an adjustable arm, so I could angle the bulb downwards. I set a timer for 10 minutes and used eye protection I already owned. Within about 7 minutes I could tell my ankles and feet felt relaxed and looser. After the 10 minutes was over, I used the light bulb on my knees for 10 minutes. Then I went back to my feet for another 5 minutes. Great product and you cannot beat the price. This red light bulb apparently helps with inflammation, pain, and stiffness. I did feel some nausea for about 45 minutes after using the bulb. From my understanding of already owning and using a vibration platform on a regular basis, this is probably the detox stage ridding my body of toxins. This is a MUST product in my opinion for everyone. I highly recommend using some eye protection such a blackout rubber goggles like you would use in a tanning bed. Also, TJ Maxx, Marshalls, etc. is a good place to find lamps on clearance that might have a broken shade. I own 2 from TJ Maxx and I paid less than $20. It also helped eased some aches and pains from my shoulder and knee, and I look forward to seeing what regular sessions can do for healing. I did not have any issues with my clamp. It can hold a stable position, be adjusted, and still hold. I amnusing a wooden folding tv table to clip the lamp to.
