Mini Maglite LED Upgrade Bulb for 2 AA & 2 AAA, 60 Lumen Torch Conversion, UpLED

These are amazing. I bought the 0.5wattbulb and the brightness is very good. Order was delivered within three days, easy to install, new lease of life for an old torch. A little bit expensive but cheaper than a new torch. Just hope it lasts.

Used this type before, excellent upgrade to mag light, increases battery life no end, just make sure you plug them in correct as they only seem to work one way round.

This replacement LED is much brighter than the original bulb (I think it's 1 watt), but not as bright as other LED torches I have. It's still worth the cost, although it's about 50% of the price of a new Maglite. The replacement fits perfectly, although it then requires fewer turns to switch on the torch - no big deal. Remember that LEDs have polarity, so if it doesn't work, pull it out and turn it round before plugging in again. Update: batteries last for ages. A brilliant purchase!

A great addition to add an on/off switch to your maglite torch. A bit fiddly to install, but once you’ve managed to install it, it does make life easier and a great feature

Great replacement for original (incandescent) bulb and hope I will not have the fading light syndrome when I need to use it for more than a few minutes. Quite easy to install after I remembered that the old bulb is removed by just a straight pull out. The LED bulb works only one way round and I got it wrong the first time. Plugged it in again, other way round and instant success. Very pleased.

If you think this is going to be up to the standard of a Mini Maglite 2AAA torch, you'll be disappointed. I have one of those and got this upgrade for an old mini maglite that had a bulb so I'd have 2 decent torches ( always good to have a spare right? ). So OK, it's better than the old bulb but it is far short of the blinding glare of my LED Maglite. So so product.

Amazing what changing a maglite filament bulb to this led does. 2x AAA were empty with filament bulb (and also on my battery tester), yet the same batteries power the LED at full brightness without any dimming. Torch in nightly use for 2 months now. Actually not much cheaper than an original equipment led maglite, (about 75% cost of new) but avoids sending a perfectly good 20 year old case to trash. Height of led above heat sink means that beam focus is not as good as it should be - narrow beam almost turns torch back to 'off' as you rotate the lens. Works fine as a pocket device to search in the car boot, see where the dog is on a walk etc.

Replacing the original light on my mini-mag flashlight with this little gem is a no brainer. The amount of light that this little guy produces is simply amazing, it like getting a super bright flashlight for very little money.

This bulb arrived much sooner than expected and is at least 10 times brighter than the original bulb. The difference is amazing.

Great upgrade except the cap can’t screw down all the way as the included reflector is a little bit too thick on the edge. Everything works it just doesn’t look the best. Consequently I decided to give it four stars also I bought two of these one was for a mini mag light one was for a smaller AAA mini mag light and the AAA was easy to screw back on although it didn’t go all the way down but the AA that was tough.
