What happens is the DMSO carries the antifungal cream through the nail bed to kill the fungus more effectively. I'm trying out this method and already feel some relief. Most paint on nail antifungals have this same concept with DMSO as the carrier. DMSO penetrates skin instantly so don't handle it with your hands or you have to wash time immediately. Else anything toxic your hands touch will penetrate your skin too. Use basic caution. DMSO is a very effective product for many things. Great for bruises, sprains, arthritis, apply to site. Let dry.
