Real ovens: are wired directly without a 13 A plug, use an electrical cable that can handle more amps, are not on the same ring main at the fuse box **Q: Can you use the hobs and the oven at the same time ?** A: Rockyray's information is probably incorrect: When Belling, use to originally sell junior cookers they use to sell a 3-pin plug version, for example, I think 121R MK6 and a wired version that required an electrician to wire the cooker into the wall's wiring. I purchased the 3-pin plug version because I could plug it into any 3-pin wall's socket, and use it. But I was limited to either only using the small and large plate together or use the oven or grill with the small plate together. The wired version it was possible to use everything together; small plate, large plate and either the oven or the grill. It wasn't possible I don't think to use both the oven and the grill because they would use the same heating elements. But if using the grill the door would have to email open. But using the oven the door would have to remain closed The small ring on my 3-pin Junior Belling has to be replaced. Recently a Belling's expert stated that they stopped making junior Belling cookers about 3.5 years ago. If my original was still being sold I would purchase one. The more recent versions probably created after another company purchased Belling are inferior, they don't have separate temperature control for the grill. Mine is probably at least 15 years old. - Belling was charging me about £155 think that it was to replace the ring. Hence, looking for a replacement cooker, now called mini oven and hobs. What I am extremely surprised about is that far too many appears to be an electrical fire risk or at least not fit for purpose. The original versions there wasn't much if any difference with the price differences. **Q: How do I use fan assisted oven p** A: The second knob down on the right is the function knob. You turn it clockwise to get it to the required setting. There's 7 settings including the top one. As it has 2 elements you need to turn it on 3 times from the top setting to get it to the fan oven with both elements. Put my airfryer under the table. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good little oven/hob/grill for its size & cost *by A***E on 22 March 2019* Overall a great little oven which we have as our only means of cooking at home (gap in the cupboards for a stand-alone cooler in our rented home is narrower than any available uk cooker so we bought this and a little shelving unit to use instead!). It takes some getting used t the ‘knack’ of cooking with this and you can’t simply use it how you would a standard domestic cooker, so it’s a matter of relearning how to cook? The hob rings can be used individually or both at the same time, but don’t have a temperature control and are simply ON or OFF. They also can’t be used at the same time as the oven or grill (this is the most frustrating feature of this mini oven as if you’ve roasted something and want to cook some veggies you have to turn the oven off?!) The oven has a temperature control from 50-220•c but this is a lie 🤔 the oven is ON or OFF and the temperature control doesn’t do anything (so it’s sits at max all the time!). The 220•c definitely isn’t that hot and is probably somewhere around 180•c. The best way to Control the cooking temperature is to move the shelves up and down inside the oven, moving the food to the top for hotter temps etc? Food also takes longer to cook that is on the cooking instructions. HOWEVER, despite all this, we have managed a full Sunday roast in it with a whole chicken and trimmings and I’ve managed to bake cakes and bread and butter pudding. You can manage to cook big family meals in it but just have to get your head around how to get the best it this little oven first? The grill is great and have no problems with that. It has 4 shelf heights inside and comes with 1 grill pan/oven tray that slides in and 1 wire rack shelf. Be aware that because it’s not very wide a lot of standard oven trays won’t fit inside. It is however deceptively deep and fits in big 30cm diameter over dishes. The inside of the oven is really easy to wipe down and the outside has a nice matte black finish. However the job rings drive me mad as they are textured on the top meaning food gets stuck in all the holes?! They also rust after cleaning, even if you thoroughly dry them immediately after? I’ve even tried proper job ring cleaner to see if it prevented this rust but it it hasn’t? It’s has a dial to control temperature (but as previously mentioned ours stay at max), a dial to choose if you want to use the grill, oven, 1 x hob ring or both hob rings. The third dial turns to the left for ‘ON’ and the right to set a timer.
