Battery died on my laptop, so after doing some research I ordered this replacement. Product arrived quickly and in good condition. When I first installed it I was disappointed because the computer would not recognize it. But after leaving it in the machine for a short while and then rebooting, the computer finally recognized it and it has been working perfectly ever sense. I have not actually timed how much run time I get off a full charge, but it is much better than the old battery. I note about the seller... They have contacted me several times to ensure I was happy with their product and offered technical assistance and replacement/refund if I was not satisfied. They seem very genuine and I suspect they would provide good service if it was necessary. Fortunately, I have not had to test them on their offer.

The battery fits pretty well into my Lenovo G50-45 and looks almost exactly like the original. So far it clipped in and charged up well and I have not had issues with the computer "recognizing" it. I haven't really tested the battery life but considering my original battery was a 2200mAh, and I believe rated for 3 hrs, and this one is a 2600mAh I should expect to get 3-3.5 hrs of run-time from a full charge depending on what you're doing on the computer. As of now I would recommend this battery and I will update my review if anything bad happens within the next 6 months or so. A decent product for a decent price.

The battery arrived promptly, charged up and lasts as long as it is estimated to. The only issue I had was a user error, in that I bought a battery that does in fact fit my laptop but is not as powerful as the original Lenovo battery. I believe my battery held a 4.5 hour charge whereas this one lasts 3 hours. Again, user error for me not paying more attention to product description and not wanting to hassle with shipping back and reordering a bigger battery. The only manufacturer issue is probably the repeated complaint on reviews, regarding the slight dip where the battery fits but sticks out a little. It is not enough to compromise connection but it definitely is not flush. The company offers customer service and makes it easy to get in touch. I have not needed to complain or ask for assistance but I appreciate any brand willing to provide customers with care and support.

This never worked. My laptop wouldn't run on battery so I bought a new battery (this one). It STILL didn't run on battery. I assumed it was a hardware issue. 18 months later someone talked me into buying another new battery to see if possibly I purchased a bad 1. And sure enough, I bought a new 1 from a different supplier and the new 1 worked

I ordered this as a replacement battery for my Lenovo G500s Touch. I have had some pretty bad experiences purchasing generic unbranded batteries through Ebay. Right out the packaging I would be lucky to get 30 mins of laptop use before my laptop needed the charger and within weeks needed to be plugged in to work @ all. The battery from Ankon Direct has been the only replacement so far that has been of the same quality as the original battery. I'm so glad I found this seller's product. I was ready to go out and waste money buying a new laptop I didn't even need.

Lasted for 5 months and then stopped holding a charge. It displayed a “unauthorized battery” warning. By then, it was too late to return.

I've had this battery in my Lenovo laptop for about 6 months and it was working fine until a few days ago. (I bought the replacement because the original wasn't lasting more than about 30 minutes.) Now the computer gives me error messages and random crashes (i.e., completely loses power). It says it's an "unauthorized" battery, which *may* have something to do with the Lenovo Energy Manager, but I'm not certain of that. I don't know why it would say it's unauthorized after working ok for so long. I haven't found a useful solution to it online, so I'm planning to buy another brand of replacement battery, hoping for a better result. This battery appears to be highly rated by other buyers, so I can't be certain it's not a Lenovo software monitoring issue. I replaced it with the original battery and it's working fine as long as it's plugged in. Will update this review if I learn anything useful. UPDATE 2108-12-20: I contacted the seller and since the battery was still under a one year warranty they sent me a new one. It almost immediately developed the same issue. On closer inspection I could see that both replacement batteries have a slight curve (warp) along their length. I noticed that the battery did not latch easily as it should when I installed it. When the problem arises an orange light on the computer starts to flash and the battery monitor indicates "Plugged in but not charging". I squeezed the battery to make it seat better and the flasher turned a normal white. Since the connection terminals are in the middle of the battery, this warp is apparently just sufficient to make a poor connection. This is clearly a manufacturing flaw, or at best something that damaged the batteries (perhaps heat exposure?) after they left the factory. The original Lenovo battery seats and latches easily and is perfectly straight. It just no longer holds a charge for more than 30 minutes or so.

Never having a laptop before (desktop only), I wasn't aware I was supposed to NOT plug in and use battery at same time. So I just took the battery out. When I finally decided to try it again - dead! So I ordered a replacement and this is PERFECT! Fit perfectly, recognized by my laptop immediately and has a somewhat longer time to recharge than my old one. Received very quickly, packed well and very happy with my purchase. You won't be sorry!
