Not as strong as I would like.
Since it's plastic it's not as strong as I would like for stirdy potatoes. Tough potatoes will shoot out from the end so works well as a chip launcher.

Materials
I thought this would be as "heavy duty" as the one I used to own, but I was a bit disappointed when I found out that the entire thing was made of cheap plastic. It is fairly hard to use, and sometimes I am afraid that if I push too hard it might break. Overall, I have only used it once since I bought the item because it's easier to prepare things without it.

Sorry to say its broken.. the pin came out when i was using it that keeps it secure,Now in the Bin. it lasted for a couple weeks.
