Works on Volvo Penta Duo Prop DP-SM
I purchased another brand on Amazon but the quality was lacking and it was priced higher than this two pack of fittings. These Slippery Pete adapters are much better quality in my opinion. Would purchase again if needed but should last numerous years. If you are looking for a tool to remove the front prop check out Marine Tech 3855876 it is a much higher quality tool then the typical one on Amazon that reviews state bend easily and do not last. If you want a tool to hold the props in place while removing and replacing instead of a block of wood take a look at Prop Master Prop Stop. For reference my outdrive is a 1999 Volvo DP-SM and again I have used the tool and it works perfectly. On my outdrive the rear prop nut size is 1-3/16. Also for reference if you have the same drive the Volvo o ring part number you will need when changing the drive fluid are dipstick 3852045, vent plug 3855081, and drain plug 955981. Drain plug is 8mm hex, 3 drive cover screws are 3/8, vent plug is large flat head and dipstick is 9/16. I use Volvo 80w-90 Gear Lube 1141677 and specifications state 2.5 quarts. If you have the same 1999 Volvo 5.7 GSI PWTRCE motor I do here are some more part numbers. Volvo oil filter 3850559 and fuel filter 3852228. I use Volvo full synthetic 10w-40 21681795 and specifications state 6 quarts. Use this additional information at your own risk but I believe all part numbers and specifications are correct. Hopefully others will find the additional info helpful.
