as much as a bag of sugar.I am disabled and cannot carry anything heavy.i have a henry hoover at home and that is very heavy so i got the gtech.light to handle.you would not regret buying one.fab.

There's a compartment at the bottom and it just slides out. Very easy to empty and holds quite a lot of dirt/fluff/dog hairs
