Beware, its Dairy!
was not advertised or pictured as such, but the one that arrived had a dairy symbol on it that I Obviously cannot use for someone who is ALLERGIC!

should be called pistachio flavored, sweetened almond paste
Ingredients: almonds, sugar, dextrose, pistachios, sunflower oil, corn starch, natural and artificial flavors, soy lecithin, colors E100 (turmeric), E141 (copper complexes of chlorophyll and chlorophyllin). May contain traces of milk, egg, soy and other nuts.

Uso la crema pistacchio regolarmente per fare il gelato. Ho appena finito un barattolo della Fabbri e ne sono rimasta talmente soddisfatta che ne ho comprato un secondo. Ma ahimè…questo non è nemmeno parente del primo, non si assomiglia ne nel profumo e nemmeno nel colore. Sorvolando sul profumo, quel che mi preoccupa invece è il colore, è di un verde talmente acceso che sembra perfino fino per non dire che sembra creato artificialmente. Mangiandolo nel gelato non è malvagio, sopratutto se non si sa come poteva essere diversamente.
