Does this dry your hair out ?is the settings to high?

There are 2 speeds and 2 heat settings. I dry my long hair on the fastest speed and highest heat, in about 3 minutes. I can honestly say that my hair feels really soft, after drying, each and every time. I wash my hair twice a week and have been using this dryer for just over 2 years and not had any problems with it. My daughter and 2 of her colleagues purchased this drier too, they were all delighted.
