All of the buttons, charging point and headphone socket are usable with the case fitted. I would personally prefer the camera lens to be a little more recessed, for added protection against scratching, but the lens does not protrude beyond the case. That's just me being overly cautious. I can't comment on the level of drop protection the case gives as I'm not going to deliberately test it on a new phone for the sake of a review!
