Does anyone know the difference between a large and x-large? for example, is the padding on the foot longer on the xl? i have a size 12 foot

My foot is twelve wide and the xl is a bit snug. The sizes I think more correlate to shin height and leg thickness.

Can you wear with shoes?

I would not recommend wearing them with shoes, as it could be uncomfortable.
