The string isn't the original from the Kabbalah Center in Los Angeles - and isn't as thick - but def. does the trick. It seems to stretch out a little quicker than the other string but so far is holding up ok. The packaging is paper thin - also not as sturdy as the original - but does the job as well. I think the original string has changed too and it's not as great as it used to be but I think for now I still prefer that over this. Although, honestly, you can't beat this price.
