Classic Collection 274g

As a self-professed chocoholic, I have come to expect very few surprises in my chosen vice. I love most chocolate, but I can definitely discern the best from the rest. This assortment contained a few creatively delightful surprises I've never tasted before in chocolate, such as the honeycomb-filled chocolate, and the chocolate covered Turkish Delight ( a rose-flavored filling that tastes like flowers), and Orange Crisp with its interesting textures. I received my first box as a gift from a friend who bought them in Europe; and after trying them, I just had to seek out another source where I could continue to order more whenever I wanted them. So delicious! I've ordered several boxes since then.

My British wife has long missed her absolute favorite chocolate. So for Christmas this year, I ordered her this box. It arrived in California far ahead of schedule. The chocolate was amazing, the quality even more so, and the price was quite reasonable. I expect to be using this company repeatedly in the future for new orders. Well done and thank you.

Took forever to get them which I thought meant a good thing.All melted in into the plastic I literally threw half away! I could have called family in the uk got them faster In better condition.Anyone interested can find me on FB pm me Martina Roderick

I have long thought Thornton's were one of the best chocolates on earth. I was thrilled to find them on line and will order again and again.

Having lived in the U.K. for a long time, I was always a big fan of Thorntons. So you might imagine my excitement when I discovered I could order them on Amazon. Aside from the long wait. Absolutely no reason for that. They were stale. What? Are they shipping old stock to the States? Did it go stale during it's long voyage? Or has their quality diminished that much over the years? Among the many things I learned while living in Europe, some things are superior to the States. We have our things that are better as well so don't get me wrong, however, chocolate is not one of them, as a rule. This box of chocolates was like something cheap one could buy at any store here in the States. Awful really awful, disappointed to say the least and sad I wasted the money.

when received, I refrigerated boxes which was a good thing because a couple of days later when I opened the boxes I saw that the candy had melted prior to delivery - it was solid from the refrigeration but candies in hard melted pools of chocolate

From what the wife has told me, these chocolates were "wonderful". All I can do is pass my wifes words because I never got near enough to see them never mind taste them. I compliment myself on having the sense to get them.
