If you are having a aftermarket android screen without carplay/android auto, this works best for you. It enables the option for wired/wireless carplay/android auto on the same screen. It rarely stops at times, which can be resolved by plugging off & on the device.

Got a faulty piece which only works with some Samsung devices and no other device I tested it on.

Once the AutoKit.apk app is installed, it connects quickly and works immediately. Pairing the phone with the adapter via Bluetooth is straightforward, and the connection activates automatically when the car starts, enabling wireless functionality. However, the performance is disappointing. After a few minutes of use, the app becomes noticeably slow, and the screen starts showing severe glitches. Eventually, it becomes almost unusable, requiring a restart or manual intervention. Overall, while the initial setup is smooth, the app’s stability and responsiveness need significant improvement for a reliable driving experience.

It was working fine for couple of months, then suddenly now disconnecting every 5 minutes, tried to reinstall and reset everything still the same problem Update: Raised warranty claim, let's see how this turn out, if they did the right thing I'll update to give stars and buy it again as it was great when it worked. Update: after alot of back and forth they still didn't resolve my concern or refund the product

Works Flawlessly with iPhone, however I have noticed resolution isues with Android Auto.

Working perfectly in my Changan CS85. At first i plugged it in, the downloader didn’t start. I looked for the drive kit apk file online, moved it to the car and installed it. It recognized the unit but not my phone. I found a tutroial online that says I should download lucky patcher and use lucky patcher to move the application to “system app” once I did that, it worked perfectly! I’m using iPhone 13 & iPhone 12 Pro max both on IOS 16. I used it only in wireless mode. So far zero issues! Fast response, I return to the car it turns on automatically and it remembers where I was and what I was doing. It’s amazing!

This is a very cool box. The idea of hijacking carplay in your car to show an android tablet is very cool! Kudos on that. That being said, I bought this mainly to use android auto. When I initially got the unit, android auto worked well, with the exception that if I was using gps, e.g. google maps or waze through android auto, audio would stutter. I found the manufacturers' website and updated to the latest firmware at the time dated for 2022-03-02. When I updated, everything was working great! The screen was very responsive, audio worked beautifully etc. However, after about 5-6 hours of use, the unit got laggy. Moving the screen around to look at the map was horrendously slow, and forget using audio. This time, the audio skips were worse than with the firmware that came pre-installed. My suspicion is that there is some issue with the WiFi drivers so data was being dropped or something, or something wrong with the RF frontend in general. Note that I rebooted my phone and tried a second phone as well to be certain it was the device itself. Anyways, great effort, but it needs refinement. As currently priced, it's not worth it and I will be returning the product since it does not perform as expected.

I just received this box a couple days ago and I'm so impressed I had to write a review. I bought this to try on my 2021 Indian Roadmaster. The bike only supports wired Apple Carplay and I have an Android phone. I plugged this in and it was recognized instantly and booted up in about 20 seconds. Everything worked great. I downloaded some of my apps from the Play store and they installed and worked great also! Then I tried the wireless Android Auto feature using the Autokit app. I found out that my phone (Galaxy S7) doesn't support wireless Android Auto but after Googling for a solution I enabled developer options and turned on "project screen" option and now it works great! I also pulled the sim card (Verizon) out of my phone and put it in this box to see if it would connect to the network and it did! Awesome!!! To answer one of the questions above there is an option to use it as a hotspot. I didn't try it but I think it also depends on your phone plan as to whether that can be enabled. Overall VERY impressed with this box! All the apps I tried worked well and the system seemed quite responsive. I would definitely recommend this for a wireless option or for someone, like me, who only has Apple Carplay available.

Amazing device that adds to any aftermarket android screen "Apple Carplay/Android Auto" wireless capabilities .. I connected it to a 2GB RAM android screen and it worked flawlessly .. Highly recommended device.

Loved this product You will have to get a SIM card but it works great better, stronger signal than my iPhone 11 Pro max I used apk mirror to load video apps like Disney+ Google it, not hard to use. I’m still working out if I can update the operating system but at this point the product is running pretty smooth
