However, the construction is a light plastic, nowhere near the heft/strength of a Pelican or similar. The attraction is the closed cell foam surround that creates a good, tight fit for the TX-500. Expensive and there are other options that are more robust for the money. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Review *by A***R on August 23, 2023* The TX-500 with BP-500 battery fit perfectly with room for mic, mAT-10, and coax jump lead. There isn't really room for anything else and everything is held firmly in place. The case is robust enough for me to feel comfortable having it in my backpack and take a bit of punishment, but not so heavy to be a burden. It is not Pelican strong but nor is it heavy, therefore a good compromise. I tested it in a sink submerged with a few inches of water and there was no ingress of water.
