As my golden retriever brothers grew from tiny puppies into 75 pound hulks in a matter of just a few months I realized I needed something to help little 130 lb me walk the two of them without being walked myself. I wanted to try one of these out so I can do my walks and jogs with the dog hands-free. Turns out to be one of my greatest purchases ever so far.

I’m a big runner and live in the city so I like to take my pup with me when I go out for my safety and she LOVESS to run. I really like the handles and different attachment spots for a shorter leash option

After a lot of searching, I ended up choosing this product because it is actually a bit longer than most hand free leashes. It could be a bit longer still though. My 50lb dog has a long stride and tends to lead, so I have to watch not to step on her heels at times. I have started looping my adjustable leash onto the belt with a couple feet of lead and attach this leash to that to give us a bit more space. The positives are that the loop that you hook the leash onto slides as the dog moves, so it doesn’t tug on you as badly as it would otherwise; the handles are soft and well placed although my length solution makes them less so; and the small pack that some claim is too small fits poop bags, treats, keys, and even my iPhone 10S just fine. A bigger phone will not fit though. .
