Yuasa NP7-12 6.3 mm lead battery

I bought this to replace a dead battery for the iBox UPS protecting my iMac. The battery is a high-quality Japanese unit and has so far worked perfectly. It is a direct replacement for the original battery fitted in the iBox - same dimensions. Installation is a bit of a fuss, but that's the fault of the design of the iBox, not of the battery - length of the iBox battery leads is slightly too short for comfort. Delivery was extremely prompt and it was well packaged.

I ordered the Yuasa NP7-12L, but received the NP7-12. However, the battery fits perfectly and the terminals are the correct size for the APC CS 500 UPS. (The "L" designation is supposed to indicate the terminal width, i.e. "Large".) Anyway, the battery was fully charged and everything is working fine again. The previous genuine battery lasted 7 years, although I had been getting warnings for weeks.

Like-for-like replacement for Flymo cordless strimmer battery that had died. Batterry works well - strimmer now functioning as new. Much cheaper than buying a new strimmer. Battery exactly as described and arrived earlier than stated. Excellent service.

The old Yuasa battery lasted fifteen years in a strimmer , so when it finally died on me I naturally replaced it with another Yuasa . As I`m nearly 70years old the big question is who will die first , me or the new battery !! .

Batterie arrivée chargée, tension 12,85 V. Batterie achetée pour remplacer celle sur un onduleur INFOSEC X2-1000 qui ne tenait plus la charge après 3 ans. D'origine 9 Ah d'une marque "exotique", YUASA semble avoir bonne réputation, n'existait plus en 9 Ah, j'ai pris en 7 Ah, comme les coupures de secteur sont de moins en moins fréquentes avec les lignes enterrées, c'est juste pour continuer à alimenter 2 PC quelques minutes en attendant le retour du courant ou pouvoir éteindre les PC en sécurité. Attention, ce modèle possède des cosses femelles de 6,35 mm de largeur, soit Faston 250 ou faston de type F2 qui correspondent aux cosses males sur mon onduleur Infosec. (Pour info, changer la batterie sur cet onduleur est une vraie galère, il faut enlever le capot et la face avant de l'onduleur, la batterie est noyée sous des fils et la partie électronique). Après un test de coupure secteur, l'onduleur prend le relais, cette batterie fait le job ... après, j'espère qu'elle tiendra au moins 3 ou 4 ans ! Expédiée par le vendeur le lendemain de ma commande, bien emballée (carton + chips). Article et vendeur recommandé !

Batteries Yuasa originales à un prix correct. Elles ont bien des cosses Faston en 6,3 mm. Je pense qu'il vaut mieux une marque réputée plutôt que des batteries low cost aux caractéristiques peu fiables. Et il vaut mieux un vendeur qui expédie depuis la France, le transport des batteries au plomb c'est compliqué. Bon vendeur français RDLB: commandées le 18 (deux batteries) reçues par GLS le 20.
