can this be used to clear wine before bottling?

Yes this can be used as finings. Put the turbo clear in as instructed. Part A first stirred in well and then part B lightly floated on top, leave for at least 24hours. And then siphon the wine from the top without disturbing the junk at the bottom. Hopefully you would have used a carbon additive during brewing this will then be a thick black sludge at the bottom. 1 pack is suitable for 23L / 5 gallons. It is not easy to split, so if you want to use if for a smaller batch such as a 1 gallon batch, use half the sachet or even the full amount. If you are making smaller batches, consider buying one of our 1 gallon fining packs.

Can this be used for spirits ?

Yes, its made to clear a spirit wash with carbon in it, clears it in about 24hrs....just follow the instructions or it takes longer. Also removes yeasts and other residues.
