If you are particular about your sound this is the reciever for you!
Great system! No need for amps. Sound is coding is amazing! Multiple ways to configure your speakers based on your hardware and room setup (space). Awesome!

Denon reliability
When they work they are great. My last 2 flagship receivers were Denon. The first became outdated soon after I purchased it. The second I paid about $3000 for and after 4 years without excessive use, the power connection to the mother board failed, no power surge or any electrical instigation, it just failed. After six months, Denon notified me it could not be repaired. It was out of warranty so they would not replace it. In an instant it went from a great receiver to a 55 lb piece of junk. Denon has a design flaw in how their device is powered not allowing for repair and they don’t stand by a customer that spent several thousand dollars on their products. I now have a Yamaha a8a and could not be happier.

This Receiver is Amazing!!!
I bought this Receiver for my 13.2 Movie System in my 15 x 12 x 10 Ft. Room. I have 11 Speakers and 2 Subwoofers--I am using Two Outputs for Bi-Amping Two of my Main Speakers, i.d. Front Right and Front Left Speakers. My Speakers are Definitive Technology's DM Series Speakers; and, My Subwoofers are SVS Subwoofers, their 3000 Series. This A1H Receiver produces top of the line Movie Sounds as well as Realistic 2-Channel for Music Listening. It is Pricey, but I Love This Receiver that I have been using for the past 18-Months or so! Thank You!
