Unisex-Child Bailey Athletic Sneaker

We are big fans of the Simple Joys line, and these Bailey sneakers didn't disappoint. We’ve been using them for a few months now, and they’ve held up surprisingly well against the playground and preschool mud. The pink color is vibrant but doesn't show dirt as badly as I feared. The best part? The "easy-on" factor. The velcro is strong but manageable enough that my toddler can start practicing doing it herself. The sole has a good grip—no slipping on hardwood floors—and they seem to provide decent arch support for a play shoe. They run true to size; we got the 9 Toddler and it fits perfectly with a standard pair of socks. They’ve survived the washing machine once already (air dried them!) and came out looking brand new.

I bought these shoes for my daughter (she’s 5 years old, size 7 youth), and they turned out better than I expected. The fit was spot-on with her usual size — no need to size up or down. She wears them daily to school, and after 3 weeks of running around in recess, the soles still look almost new. The cushioning is soft enough that she says her feet don’t hurt after P.E. class. What I really like is the flexibility of the sole — it bends easily, which makes them comfortable for active kids, but it’s still sturdy enough for support. The stitching looks well made, not just glued, so I expect them to last through the whole school year. Overall, very impressed — stylish enough that she likes wearing them with casual outfits, but durable enough for sports and everyday school use. Would definitely buy again in another color.

These are very cute and durable, however, they run very small. I could have gone up a size. My son was still able to wear them but not for long. Easy to put on, slip resistant, very thick outer material, and seemed comfortable. Would recommend, but size UP.

I like that they have good grip on the bottom, and are easy to put on my 21 month old. The size 6 seemed to run a little small. Good value for money.

Got these for my 2 year old. They are more bulky than expected on arrival. The soles round up on the back and made it so my son constantly was tripping and losing balance when wearing these. The other problem I had with these was the thick souls and damaging my car. Granted this was a two-year-old just kicking the side of the car, but it constantly made marks and scratches on the door where he sits next to. I have not experience this with other brands that we have purchased (Nike, Vans, and Adidas). The shoes in general seem good and more sturdy. However, they were really stiff and my son who loves shoes hated wearing these and would rip them off in the car and take them off every chance he got. They must not have been very comfortable for him to be constantly taking His shoes off. After several weeks of trying them out, it wasn’t worth it and returned these. They did wipe off easy and didn’t look breathable because his feet stank after taking the shoes off. These were definitely cheaper than other brands and looked like they’d hold up but not worth it to us.
