GRIP ONE - String Winder, String Cutter, Bridge Pin Puller

I’m a relative noob to guitar maintenance and this handy little dude did all the things that it claimed to really well. Wire cutter is straightforward, the pin puller is excellent and you can be confident you won’t scratch your bridge plate when you use it, and the winder is thoughtfully made to fit a variety of pegs and has a lovely smooth action. Our lad plays guitars and we used to use a wire cutter to help get his strings sorted. These, however he can use himself, they are safer, and do not need a lot of pressure to activate. This is great for him and his friends to use. It is used for tightening or loosing strings as well and has some functions that help him maintain his guitar. It is compact to keep handy too. Seems sturdy enough.

I stumbled upon this winder/cutter whilst searching for a new one and took a chance. I’m glad I did. I make part of my living repairing guitars and basses, so I do more than my share of string changes and having tried winder/cutters from other major manufacturers and this is by far the best on the market in my opinion. It’ll cut any thickness of strings effortlessly. The winder is as smooth and squeak free as can be and it fits any tuning peg from mandolin to bass. Absolute no brainer. The best. Worth every penny.
