FLAIR The Royal Coffee Grinder, Espresso: An all-manual hand burr grinder with hardened steel conical burrs for any coffee brewing method

Antes que nada, agradecer la oportunidad de dar mi opinión del producto, probando por un par de días, el molino cumple con lo que estaba buscando, esto es, lo más aproximado en la uniformidad de la molienda del grano de café, en este sentido es muy bueno, los materiales son de buena calidad, fácil de utilizar y práctico en la selección de la molienda, al recibirlo solo mencionar que no viene limpio, uno pensaría que esta usado, pero se que tiene que pasar por procesos de control de calidad y que se hacen pruebas antes de mandarlo al consumidor final, al abrirlo observe que tenía restos de molienda de café y dos granos completos atorados, también un ligero daño en la parte de metal, debido, yo pienso, a que se coloca el brazo y el cuerpo del molinillo en el mismo compartimiento de la funda y con el movimiento se raspa un poco, por supuesto esto no es causal para devolver el producto ya que es muy bueno en calidad, solo aconsejar que en el primer caso con una bomba de aire se soluciona y en la segunda mención, con envolver en papel el brazo del molino también se soluciona y en ambos casos no genera un costo adicional al producto y así se presenta y se protegen las piezas bien, agradeciendo de antemano que me permitan dar estas recomendaciones, decir por último que el producto es de excelente en calidad y gracias por hacer productos así de buenos, un abrazo.

I bought this to go with the Flair Classic hand-powered espresso maker, but of course it can be used to grind for espresso regardless of what brewing device you have. In fact, I just gave one to a family member who has a large HX machine but was trying to use it with an inadequate grinder. I use mine twice a day, once with my favorite (caf) espresso beans and once with decaf. The two require different grind settings, but it is very easy to switch back and forth with the numbered settings. Due to the design, there is zero retention. I weigh the beans I need for the next shot (~16 g) in a 4 1/2 inch plastic "olive bar" container, dump from there into the Royal, and grind to completion (takes about 40 sec). Another reviewer said he had trouble with the bottom section (where the ground coffee collects) separating while grinding, but I have never had this problem. I recommend this grinder wholeheartedly.

This is a sturdy burr grinder with many settings for coarseness. It is a perfect match for my Flair Classic espresso maker! I only put in enough beans for one espresso shot. It would not hold much more than that. It's quieter than an electric burr grinder but it can still be kind of loud. The long handle makes it fairly easy to turn unless you have it on a very fine ground setting.

I have been using this daily since i got it with my flair classic and it has worked great, recently upgraded to a delonghi dedica and a bottomless portafilter for it and this grinder still keeps up, only downside ive had is it can take some time to get all the beans ground but that comes with manual grinders
