Temperature Control Smart Cup, 6 oz, App-Controlled Heated Coffee Cup, Espresso Mug with 90 Min Battery Life, Black

This was not my first Ember. I previously owned the Ember mug which lasted a number of years before the battery finally failed. I replaced it with 2 of the Cups for less than the cost of a replacement mug. These devices are much better now with longer battery life. I'm still using the original charging plates which is a bonus as I can charge in multiple locations. While rated for 90 mins, I enjoyed over 4 hours of hot coffee (multiple refills) by using a silicone coffee cup lid - https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0FSTCBPZW?ref_=ppx_hzsearch_conn_dt_b_fed_asin_title_1. I highly recommend this combination!

I have 4 of the Ember mugs. I have the red travel mug, the 12 ounce copper mug, the 14 ounce mug in a stone color and this 6 ounce mug. I get more use out of this mug than any of them and this wasn’t my first ember purchase. I love this mug. When I have to get ready for a meeting on the fly, I’m grabbing this mug because I want to get through my coffee a little quicker. It’s the right size for quick coffee that you won’t have too much time for sipping on hours. It’s the perfect size when you don’t want a lot. More importantly its size doesn’t lessen the amount of time your coffee stays hot either. I’d say to me it appears to stay hotter longer than any of my mugs and that could be due to its size. I love these ember mugs so much. My daughter started me on the journey and I’ve been on it ever since.

Works pretty well overall, picked this up for $50 on sale and overall it makes a great espresso mug that fits with my espresso scale. Just know that the mug only charges 1-2% per hour if it's full and using the charging base to keep it hot, and then when it's empty it will charge to full at full speed.

I love the idea of the cup and it works good for coffee and keeping it hot. Up until the problem that I have I would have scored it a five star rating. But I give it a one star rating because of the fact that thisvery expensive product, which had its finish come off on the inside shortly after one year of use, and the manufacturer will not stand behind the product. I followed your instructions. I never use an abrasive item to scrub out the interior of the cup. My big problem is that just passed the one year warranty period I noticed that the interior finish started coming off. Check out the video. I’ve contacted Ember, and they essentially say ‘too bad so sad. We warranty it for one year.’ I pleaded with them… This is dangerous. I must be ingesting part of the finish. Really unhappy with Customer Service and also I am super concerned about anybody who uses the copper finish version. Quite a challenge after investing well over $100 in the product.

I've always had to drink cooled espresso drinks because the small volume (2 oz)) cools quickly. And anyone who has to feed complaining cats knows there isn't time to drink hot espresso. The Ember, set at my preferred temperature, keeps the coffee hot for delayed drinking. Expense is high but I don't know how I managed this long without splurging on such a great cup.

I accidentally broke my boyfriend's Ember travel cup and they don't make that model anymore. I was pretty devastated and i gifted him this. He says he likes it better and it's the perfect amount for his morning coffee. Since he works from home, he doesn't even need a travel cup...so maybe I did him a favor. It has a good weight and a sleek design. I love the feel of the cup's material and the overall look is really fantastic. I considered getting myself one for tea but I don't know if I need it - really it's just a beautiful cup. He loves it.

I thought this product would be world-changing but it's barely worth it. Charge is only good for about 1 and 1/2 cups maybe, then it's completely drained. 6oz, it turns out, is pretty small. The app works well when connected, but connectivity isn't always immediate and easy. Really disappointed. It's like the technology is getting there, but not quite. However, if you keep the cup on the charger plate while using, it might be worth your investment. But, there are cheaper alternatives out there that might be better.

Finalmente un prodotto che fa quel che promette. Dopo aver provato diversi “scaldatazze” che non riescono a mantenere il calore questo fa il suo dovere. Si può scegliere a quale temperatura mantenere il liquido attraverso una app sul telefono. Forse un po’ macchinoso per un over 50 ma ce la si può fare 😅 Unica pecca il prezzo di vendita molto alto.

Have an Ember mug already so decided to get a cup as well. Love it, slightly smaller and without a handle but ideal for a slightly smaller drink. Can be used on existing charging coaster as well.

It was great for almost exactly a year - then it started to fail maintaining heat. Will have to buy another - at full price of course.
